PGM Donates Nearly Half of Their Time to Nonprofit Community in 2020

Naperville, IL, January 24th, 2021 — While most agree 2020 was one of the most challenging years in history, there were some genuinely inspiring and positive things that kept us all moving forward. For Paul Gregory Media, it was their commitment to donating time and resources to local nonprofits, contributing over 2,400 in-kind hours, at a value of nearly $422k.

With the stresses of Covid-19, a floundering economy, and overall uncertainty in the future of countless businesses, PGM recognized a need to help the nonprofit community. By doing so during a time when most businesses were battening down the hatches, PGM helped organizations further their reach and bring awareness to how their mission can be used for good during a time when a marketing budget may have been nonexistent. Recognized in 2020 as a Certified B Corporation™, PGM owner Paul Feith saw no other option, stating “I opened up my business with the goal of contributing to my community. This past year was extremely difficult for the nonprofit sector, and oftentimes, marketing funds land on the chopping block. My team and I were able to find a way to help them weather the storm and be of real service.”

The roster of clients PGM was able to help is diverse and includes businesses of all sizes and types including KidsMatter, Giving DuPage, Naperville Elderly Homes, The Rotary Club of Naperville Charities, and Young Naperville Singers. The roster also included underfunded organizations such as We Grow Dreams, Your Children’s Bookshelf, The Urban Muslim Minority Alliance, The Weiss Scholarship Foundation, and The Backpack Project, among others. Services PGM provided range from digital marketing projects and website design, to social media and annual reports. Due to Covid-related restrictions and client dependence on events to raise funds, PGM added a unique new service to this list: virtual event planning and production. As nonprofits had to pivot their events to the digital arena, they relied on the expertise of PGM to manage everything from storyboarding, scripting, run-through sheets, set design, graphics, animations, software, and technology platforms, and pre-recorded and live deliveries.

Looking ahead to 2021, Feith states, “2020 took a lot out of everyone and the pandemic is still with us in 2021. We look forward to our continuation of shepherding our clients through the digital world and all that is possible in extending their awareness and reach in our communities.”

“I really believe that Paul Gregory Media is as invested in the work we do as a non-profit as we are. It matters to them that our organization and our mission is always at the heart of the work we do together. I can’t think of a better-trusted partner in our work. We just turn to them, and I know that I can have that ‘relief’ as an Executive Director to know they have my back.”
